I ordered a set of the FatMat last night. The road noise in this car drives me crazy. I don't mind engine or exhaust noise but I can't stand the wind/tire/road noise.
I did add the GM Rubber Trunk mat and it cut down the noise, so I'm hopeful this really makes a difference. Part II if the trunk makes as big of a difference as I expect I'll pull all the seats and do the floorboards. |

I used the stuff from lowes as well, only did the floor area of the trunk so far. the drone from my MRT V2 is a but lower . not a bad mod for 15$.

I bought the fat mat trunk kit for about $50. Installed about half of it today but thus far it hasn't made any difference at all as far as everyday driving. Hopefully when it's all done and the subs are installed it will be worth it.
