Having also seen the image of the supposed new "twins" before this thread, I would believe they will appear in the third film. As far as Bay saying they won't, isn't he known for releasing false information to keep people guessing? Here's hoping TF3 will be better than the first two!

and whats wrong with a 2-3 hr long movie?

movies should be at least 2 hrs (not including previews and commercials) IMVHO

I hate how movies nowadays are only like 1.5 hrs or less.

The soldiers who now work with the autobots would have to be the guys who turn into GI-Joe then, cause how else do you write them off the script???

I could never see Megatron n Cobra working together for very long, they would both be looking for the advantage over the other, evil doens't share power.

It would have to be a Trilogy to fill in all the blanks proper
unless it was like the new BatMans, an escued story line of a different take on things.
