Just go for it! Best money I ever spent. Me and my 12 year old son have a blast driving the Camaro, it's as much fun if not more than my Z06. The Camaro not quite as stable as the Vette at high speeds but still fun. If you do it add the long tubes...... The sound is great! I will never have a Camaro without a Maggie, now I think I will get one for the Z06.

Thats an impressive list of cars there buddy glad to hear you feel this way about the TVS2300 on your 2SS. Did Livernois do your installation? I assume that since you have their tune. Thanks.

I bought everything from Livernois and had a local guy do the install. I highly recommend livernois, for me being so far away they were a great help and gave me a great tune.

Since adding the Maggie, the car is like x10. What I mean is the I really liked my stock 2ss m6. but after LPE got done with it; It is "I LOVE THIS CAR!" When driving normal it is about like stock, but it has a lot more pull (torque) at low rpms, so you do have to down shift as much in traffic. But when you get on it it is like a beast released, or as someone else put it "it runs like a raped ape".
I am running some pretty large Nittos, on the street it hooks pretty well, but on the strip it breaks loose, hence all the suspension work I just did to try to help that part.
With a well set up Maggie and a little susp. work it is a world class automobile, on par with many of the best. I have two friends with twin turbo Porsche's after one ride in my car niether one will race me.
I am with everyone else here....Just Do It! You will love it!
Do your homework when it comes to the shop you use, sometimes it worth a little extra cash to go with a top notch shop.

How is gas milage affected?

Would you say its not practical for a DD?

Thanks for the maggie review , I have heard nothing but good things but as you mentioned I have also been told that the shop and the tuning is probably the most imprtant part of the equation. I have heard good things about a couple of shops in my area, but may consider sending out to another non-local shop I have heard outstanding things about.

If we are still talking about the maggie, it is very practical for a DD. Mine is a DD and my gas mileage isn't really that much different from when it was stock (as long as you can keep your foot from going to the metal every time you drive it ) ... ON the camaro5 fest trip, there were times I was getting 26 MPG .. on average I was over 24MPG on that trip!!

Do you have the AFM off? I assume everyone with the maggie has the AFM off, but I could be wrong. Does the psi level you run influence MPG in anyway, do you get better mpg at 6psi than you would at 8psi or higher?

Thanks

I have a manual tranny ..

A lot of it will be in the tune. Obviously the more power you make, the more fuel you will need. Remember, though, you are only in boost when you go WOT or (close to it) .. so most of the time, I'm not even in boost at all.

I might try to find someone in my area to ask for a ride in a blown SS before I go for the gold. There are some guys in my area that have had this mod, I've talked to a few in the past when I was considering this upgrade this past winter. Thanks for the feedback
Don't do it unless you have the coin in the bank. Once you have ridden in one, you will never be happy with your current setups performance.

My dealer has told me I have ruined it for everyone. LOL

They all wanted Camaro's when I got mine...(Dealers first camaro)

After them riding and driving my car everyone at the dealership including the service manager says he could never own one now with out the Maggie.

I bought my wife an L99 after I bought my LS3 and I couldn't stand it. Put a Maggie on it a week later.

But if you put a maggie on there and get a tune with shift points changed as well as getting rid of the AFM system which is all done through software during the tune...You will never believe the difference. I enjoy my wifes car almost as much as my LS3. Its fast ! just push on the go pedal and hang on.

drives like a stocker otherwise....How cool is that.

I have owned several blown Camaro's and its the only way I will have one.

I bought a 1980 Z28 and put a 6/71 supercharger on it 30 years ago. I still have it and it is a blast to drive also.....But I am out of Warranty on that one...
