Accident

My answer is he probably wasn't on here. I have seen several new camaros around Central Wisconsin and they are not on this website. Yes, several of them have been drivers in their 40's and 50's. I live in Wisconsin but I tend to stay off single lane highways and drivin out in the boonies. After being rear ended twice and cut off once I still get scared drivin. But all of my car accidents happended 5 miles away from home. I had a guy try to come head on with my camaro two blocks from my house a few weeks ago. I swerved and he didn't hit me. I just learned to watch out for the another driver but it's kind of hard to do if your going 60-70mph down a highway:(

Hi prostock

Horrible news

Re: these cars in a frontal collision or head on impact.

Cars with airbags and mandatory shoulder and lap belts, with modern engineering, are all in all, not something you want to have a head-on collision at 50 mph in. No car is; you simply don;t want that to happen.

Head-on collisions are not normal; things have to go more than a little awry to have that happen

However, cars with airbags and mandatory shoulder and lap belts, with modern engineering are so much safer in that situation than cars from the days gone by. New cars are not indestructible; instead of wondering about the Camaro's ability to withstand a head-on collision, I wonder about why the head-on collision was necessary

No matter how safe you make a car, something can go wrong, outside of a driver's control. I really worry about how much emphasis we place on automotive crash standards and how little care we take in training people to drive. Simply put, every head-on collision is an un-needed event

That's three Camaro fatalities posted in the past three weekends. While I hate that this happened, I think we all need to see this every now and then to keep things in check - we are not indestructible.

Poor guy lost his entire family in a matter of a few seconds. My thoughts are with him...
