My window sticker from the dealer says not to bring it in until 8,000km (5,000miles). FWIW, I've had my car 18 days, driven 1,500km (900miles) and the oil is still honey-colour. I'll probably get it changed every 5,000km (3,100miles) using full sythetic oil.
