yeah but that fact is that those prices aren't stable. At least yet. I mean how long did it take to drop to that. It was a matter of a few weeks.
Like i said we tried to sell the Durango and everyone offered us much less than we though it was worth mainly because no one wants to pay for a gas guzzlin SUV.

KEEP IT!!!!!

I regret selling mine - even if it was put back together shoddily by a rip-off fly-by-night "body shop" after a nasty front-end smasher - it was still my project car. And I should have kept it.

Whew!! Thanks for letting me vent a little again......

"Old wounds dig deep"

Oh yes --- KEEP IT!!!

Keep the '68.

Jesus will probably come back before the 2010 starts to appreciate in value.

Thanks everyone for your input. I have come back to reality now and will be keeping the '68. One thing though, I may need to stay away from this site because the more I come here the more I can't stop thinking about the 2010. This site my have hypnotized me

lol yeah, my dad and his brothers regret selling their old muscle cars, my father had three Mustangs, 67 fastback, and a 70 or 71 Mach 1, can't remember what the 3rd one was... Oh well, he's a GM guy though but yeah he's cursed the day that he got rid of all his cars... Although those year Mustangs were indeed rust buckets so he was kinda glad to get rid of them...

Another keep the '68. As great as this car is going to be, I'm sure you're going to regret getting rid of that badboy.

Keep it. Have you looked at the prices of 1st gens lately? They are tanking big time. Cars that would have brought high $28k-$30k a year ago are going for $19k-$20k. And, many speculate that the bottom has not been reached yet and that those prices will fall at least another 10-20%.

i would sell it... its probably a pig on gas... its nice garage furnature... but you cant even drive it... who cares about investmen at this point... make money on your camaro and buy something you can actually drive and wont be afriad to park at the market...
i have a 68... and ive drivin it 3 times since i bought it... i have no use for it but to look at it... sure great investment that cant do what its supposed to because your scared of scratching the thing... i say sell it and buy something you can actually use

I think you guys are over-valuing this Camaro. Street stock cars are not in vogue anymore, and resto mods are always a hard sell anyways. The muscle car market is drying up - it was oversaturated and over valued for a long time.

You need to look at this in a way of investing in yourself. If the 2010 will bring you more smiles than the '68, then sell it and get the 2010 if that's the only way you can afford.

I'm a big time bike guy, and I have '64 Harley that I love, but she's a cold-blooded b**** and I've ridden it 3 times since I bought it a year ago. I'd really like to keep the bike for a long time, but if selling it is what I have to do to get something I'll enjoy more, then so be it.
