Hugger Orange is clearly dominating, I love it

I like that it is flat and will look orange in most lighting situations, unlike the metallic oranges. The other oranges also lean towards other colors, brown or red mostly, to the point of IOM actually being a red with orange tint. We have Jewell Red and Victory Red, do we really need three red colors for the Camaro? Give us a real orange please

As far as being done before, everything comes around again, it's been 40 years, how long do we need to wait? This car is about being a touch retro anyways. I think having the classic Hugger Orange (or very close) would be cool. The other car manufacturers have metallic brownish orange or metallic redish orange as well. IMHO we should be bold and go for a real orange, Hugger Orange!

Besides, the Challenger has Hemi Orange and the Mustang Grabber Orange, both of which are classic colors and they haven't been touched AT ALL. We're willing to settle for a metallic element to what is supposed to be a solid color. I don't see the logic behind the saying 'its day is done,' since Hugger Orange is synonymous to Camaro and its heritage. I don't see anybody complaining about the 1969 inspired side gills or the front bumper.

IOM is indeed way too red. It's better off being called Inferno Red Metallic.

What would be perfect is the orange they used for the vert concept, that color was breathtaking. It was the perfect way of taking Hugger Orange and adding a metallic flake to it, but I am assuming that there is more to the paint on that car than just a metallic flake since it's probably another Bumblebee scenario: too expensive to produce in mass.

There is a post somewhere that FbodFather says they cannot mass produce the orange pearl tri coat to their standards. Money not a factor. Otherwise I would have included it in the poll.

I personally like the Hemi Orange on the new Challengers. That color is hot.

I EXPECTED TO SEE HUGGER OR HUGGER-LIKE ORANGE COLOR INSTEAD OF THE DISSAPPOINTING IOM AND WOULD BUY MY SS WITH NO HESITATION IF THIS WAS SO. THIS IS THE ONLY ISSUE WHICH MAKES ME THINK TWICE SINCE I WOULD HAVE TO REPAINT. GM WILL HAVE IT ON THE CONVERTIBLE SO THEY MUST LISTEN TO DEMAND AND HAVE THE RIGHT ORANGE COLOR AVAILABLE FOR START OF PRODUCTION. IF A TRUE/BRIGHT ORANGE IS A HIT WITH LAMBORGHINI, PORSCHE, MUSTANG, ETC THEN GM NEEDS TO CONSIDER THE OBVIOUS! LIKE MOST HERE, I DON'T EVEN MIND METALLIC AS LONG AS THEY BRIGHTEN THE COLOR TO ORANGE AND NOT A SHADE OF RED!

I don't want to look at my new SS every time and suffer little heartaches knowing it's not completely right with the IOM. I can learn to live with it but I'd rather love it.

Dear GM, please...please...please....please...please...plee eeeaaaase?

Tangier works for me! Geez...it's not too much too ask. How can we make this happen??

I'm not so sure about that opinion/feedback group GM seems to trust so much with some of these obviously unpopular and controversial options and preferences! They all look like soccer moms/grandmas and over the hill shoe salesmen!

They got their blue, I don't see any reason we can't get an orange that is actually orange. Then again, we'd be adding it since we obviously can't replace IOM. Oh well.

Hugger Orange would be so right. And it's not like it's that old; for a limited time Hugger Orange was available on 4th-gen Camaros.
