80 people have voted for it to be body matched. how many more do we need to get for chevy to realize people dont want it a different color?

Why can't they install them at the factory as well?? If they were factory installed and body colored, I'd get them..

my whole point of the pole is to be able to pick the color you want. not for it to just come one color(grey).
you might want to update in your avatar what you drive then. you show you drive a 2010 ss/rs black.

I presonally would want the ground effects to actually match my car. I mean what would it look like with me having a Jewel Red Metallic Camaro with grey ground effects. I would like them to become one with the camaro so to say.

GFX only in Cyber Gray???

So wait a second here...

My Black/Black 2SS RS Camaro w/ GFX is gonna have Cyber Gray GFX and not Black like the rest of the car???

If that's the case I am either gonna change my order to Cyber Gray exterior or keep it Black but add the Cyber Gray stripe package.

Someone please help and confirm this. Thanks!

Yep. The ground effects kit comes in some grey color. I don't even think it is cyber gray. But that is what this whole thread is about. I voted to have it body matched. I love the gfx kit like most of the people that posted here but i am definitely not getting it because it only comes in grey.

How much more work would it be to paint it the color of the car anyway? They're already painting it grey. Why not just offer them primered and drop the price so people can paint them on their own. I ordered a black 2ss. What's it gonna look like with grey ground effects? I'm trying to visualize this, but I don't think its gonna look right. I thought about ordering cyber gray to match but I have a feeling it won't match. It'll probably be a shade off and look even worse. For 2300 bucks, we ought to be able to pick what ever color we want. Just my opinion.

The problem arisines with mostly the metallic colors. They are very hard to match, so if it were to be available I'd rather have it done at the same time the car is being painted, to do it properly. Other wise have it done after market and have tem fade the paint into the existing paint... but that means they are touching your very nice factory paint... I voted yes, but I believe this is why they are a different color. If I go after market I thought about doing them in silver, along with silver stripes to match...

I don't think the GFX are painted. I believe they are molded in that color. But that is just my opinion.

Everyone is saying that its a lot of money, but nobody is saying how much. Can those who got painted gfx's post how much they paid to get them painted? I need to know if this is worth it or not.
