No way on those numbers, in a thread back before Oct it was brought up on strong guesses, it's more like $500-$1000. A discount is a discount.

Uhhhh... More like $2692 between MRSP and Employee pricing for a 2SS

Anyone else find it odd (and ridiculous) that a car thats been being developed for like 4 years and is now released with pricing etc, but GM doesnt have exact discount availability and price numbers UNTIL THE CAR IS ACTUALLY BUILT in Feb.... why ?

"Raw" material pricing is all over the board right now (I'm in manufacturing). I actually have seen over the past 3-4 months steel (carbon, stainless, exotics) come down roughly 20%. Scrap pricing is in the toilet the worst. 304 stainless steel turnings were upwards of 80 cents a pound 4 months ago; today they're 10-12 cents. "New" material pricing will never tank like that but it is down considerably.

Maybe we actually can hope the MSRP comes down by production; there certainly is no reason for it to go up IMO.
