I went with the polished wheels, just a personal preference for me, I don't care for dark wheels on a darker paint color.

I'm going with the Dale Jr's 21" CGM rims. Also known as the Vert's concept rims.

I am staying with the midnite silvers, if given a free choice I would like to have kept the silver ss wheels. The $1200.00 rs pkg took them away. And 500.00 for polished does not appeal to me.

Not getting CGM, but if I were, I'd go with polished.

I also went with the 2SS/RS with the midnight silver finish. The only problem with the bright aluminum wheels is after a couple of years, any scratches or blemishes show up very clearly. At least with the mid silver finish, this is less noticeable. Depends on who's driving and how careful they are parking/going around tight corners.
Plus, since you cannot rotate the tires (at least on the SS models) you will always have the same rims on the front wheels. Brakedust, brakedust, brakedust. Need I say more..... The fronts are always dirtier and harder to clean. Less obvious with the mid sil finish.

My experience is that the more polished the wheel is the easier the dust comes off and even unidirectional tires are rotated...just front to rear and not diagonally.

I have a CGM with the midnight silver and it looks great. I think the polished aluminim are too bright and sort of look like every other wheel out there at the same time, the midnight silver goes really good with the grey. They are not as dark as people say, they are a little darker than the aluminum but the darker wheel adds to the look of the car. Get the ms wheel you will love it, there is no reason to pay more for the polished wheel either.
