I totally see your point and thought the same thing myself. Which is why I spoke with Glendora Chevrolet right after I left Rotolo Chevrolet. I didnt really even want to go to Rotolo, however, my hand was somewhat forced because I explained the situation for my wife. My wife, bless her heart, only cares about the bottom line. But to be honest, I find it hard to believe that Glendora Chevrolet, or any other dealer for that matter, would "black ball" me. Especially with several 2010 Camaro's sitting on the lot. I am also in sales, so I understand the game. The dealer would like to make as much money off of me as I would like to save from them. We are both looking to get the best deal possible. The dealer should have confidence in their pricing to the point where they arent afraid if I go and shop their number. At the end of the day, the best revenge a dealership can have on a customer is taking his money. It is just frustrating to me that I cant even get a call back. Not just from Glendora Chevrolet, but from several dealerships in Southern California. If Glendora decided that they didnt like the deal, then so be it. But at least man up and call me back and say that the numbers didnt quite work or whatever. That is a much better approach then to just leave the customer hanging. If a dealership is going to lose a deal, at least go out fighting, not without a whimper.

This may be true to a degree, but can't be the reason you aren't getting a call. I am in sales and if I give you may word that is it, it is done. But clients too often seem to think those rules don't apply to them and continue to shop after they have "shook" on the deal. While I would LOVE to black ball them, truth is money is money and if their is still a deal to be made we will make it.

My suggestion - go to Camino Real and ask to talk to Mike Luna. He got me a good deal on a black 2011 2SS RS - they didn't have it on the lot but they found it right away at another dealer and delivered it to my house two days later. I signed the papers at home on delivery. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
