Ooo... thanks Brian Those were some questions I had bouncing around in that gap between my ears I'm curious to see if there is any benefit to this TVS system over what's already out there. It seems to me there might be little if any, especially since the rotors are the same. I'm really curious in learning if all the different variations on the SC have any influence on efficiency. I've read articles and statements on both sides of the fence; to me, it seems the way with the least restriction is the best, but I'm nothing close to an expert. I'm hardly competent

If this kit is not a "Complete" kit, then why bother? Why not go with TVS kit as a complete turnkey system?

I'm interested in seeing more details and believe, ultimately, there might be blowers that make more power, but that's not the biggest factor for me.

stuff
Just an FYI the Magnuson goes through the exact same testing as EATON / GM

On a side note, pricing is OUT THERE! $7500.00 for the pictured item through GMPP

Good to know.

So, are you guys looking to come up with a lower manifold or something? I imagine you'd have posted more information if you had it, so I'm sorry for the stupid question Still - for the $7500, and no CARB-certification as of yet... there better be some serious magic. I consider 500 RWHP on LS3 cars as a benchmark for TVS-cars; and if it only takes 6-7 psi to get there, while it takes around 10.5 psi on ZR1 for this particular set-up, I think my efficiency questions are getting answered already. I've only seen a couple ZR1 dynos', and one was as low as about 510 RWHP and another around 530 or something. I know they had to squeeze that upper manifold had in order to fit under the hood, but to what expense of efficiency?

We have Camaro with a stock short block, Kenne Bell 2.8 at 8 psi, heads cam and headers making 670 rwhp.. Id say that SC is not very impressive.

Your're right.....Kenne Bell offers a turnkey complete kit. No need to look any further. KB FTW

That's a whole lot different set-up, though, no? I mean the LS9 starts at 10.5 psi; what are those cars, stock, putting down? Like less than 550 or something?

Just asking

Is there any word on emissions certification as of yet?

The SC is "Fine" it is just a 2.3L PD on a 6.2L engine. Our dyno is known locally to be a bit on the conservative side so 139 traps off of 627rwhp pull is pretty good IMO.

Stock has been 548-553rwhp on my dyno for a few different cars

I know the stock stick LS3 kits are in the 560-570 rwhp range. On crap 91 octane. Just not that impressed with 16 psi and a LS9.

The emissions cert is just around the corner. Im almost positive they had the Camaro stuff done, but wanted to get the Vette cert as well. So they opted to cert the Vette, which would grandfather in the Camaro. Smart marketing on KB's part.

KB's 2.8 kits are what, about 8-9 psi, in that range? I think those are great numbers, personally. I'd like to see what a straight-up LS9 kit would do on a stock LS3-car in that range. I'm glad their still working on certification though.
