What do.
I've always been a fan of the LM1. . . but it's really looking at the whole turning heads aspect or the playin it safe and having a back up aspect. Personally I would go LM, just because everyone will notice that!

Well I've got a blown speaker and a half blown head unit. Also just found my changer harness.

If the LM gets sold before I can get the funds then I'm going changer.

Kinda funny, shoved my hand up under the drivers side interior trim/speaker panel in the trunk and felt the speaker wires, then a line.. and a foam wrapped thingy.

"huh..?"

Felt tape and untaped and pulled it out. Whaddya know, the Changer male plug was shoved up underneath the tweeter/speaker combo for 10 years..

Bump for epic twin fail on the exhaust and stereo.

1) Stereo was a tape deck, and he wouldn't part the changer or speakers out. Had no use for the head unit in that case so I passed.

2) Found out that the LM1 I had been stalking just got sniped today.

Updates: Well mods are now 'sorta' on hold.

I say this because the bird needs near rear bearings, and as such I may go for an upgrade while I'm at it and have them install the whole shebang since I don't have access to a bearing press. Any ideas?

Isn't she a low-mileage car?

Low mileage but improperly stored and cared for. IE outside or in an uninsulated, poorly enclosed garage.

NEGLECTED!

Mechanics weren't surprised much either since it looked as much (and the bearings are 10 years old) when I asked them about it. I can still drive it just fine, but I got it confirmed that the bearings are pretty much in need of replacement. So no more banging around on it. I mean if the brakes and pinion seal were toast already I sort of expected this.

At least the 2nd owner will do everything the first owner didn't do to make sure she lasts.
