ecu won't need a retune. @ most you might need to wire in some extra circuitry so that it doesnt trigger a warning light because the resistance is different from original (most cars when the resistance of the circuit such as a light is out of a preset range it gives the 'check headlight' message)
If the OP is looking at OEM I'm pretty sure it's gonna be around 1200 for one side. Aftermarket is a diffrent story IMO.

OEM vs aftermarket i'll agree is different, but with my experience i only go with aftermarket to upgrade, and if its cheaper is only more incentive

Although, the benefit of getting 20s would be not having to buy new rubber for aftermarket 20s. I'd just use the tires that came with the RS package. If I get 18's I have 4 all-seasons which I don't really need. I'd rather have winters...
i don't think 18's will fit over those rear brakes/calipers.

Um, dumb question, but how long do we expect the RS package's HIDs to last before needing replacement? If it's going to be $1200 a side every time a bulb burns out, even if it's every 10 years, why would you EVER want this on your car?

We were discussing the price for the light assembly not the bulb itself

I went a head and bit the buttit today. I called the dealership and I upgrade my order to 2SS/RS. I originally dropped the R/S package to save money. But I really wanted HID's and couldn't stop thinking about it.

But its just so much easier to pay the extra $1200.00 now and add it to the total price of the car. I get what I really want and I don't have to worry about adding them later.

The dealer also told me I've been moved up to # 4 on the list in the fist group of cars to be delievered.
