The way I see it, it's your car, you're paying for it, you should get what you want. While others may say you shouldn't put hood w/mailslot the red SS badges on it if it's not a real 2SS/RS... It's yours, do as you wish and be happy with your decisions. Lori

Thanks everyone. I am not a professional painter but I have been restoring Mopars since 1985 and always do my own work. The painting was the easy part (and yes, I did it myself) - sanding the yellow paint was a pain as there are a lot of angles on it. I did paint over the yellow paint as I figured the factory paint would adhere to the rubber/plastic better than any aftermarket paint would and I used a flex agent in the clearcoat. As for changing the actual nose, there are five bolts on each outer fender where it meets the bumper and then there are two on the bottom and two on the top at the very ends of the bumper. Then, there are the plastic wheel houses that have five screws on each side and several plastic clips that are reusable on each side. It really is simple to change. Here is something interesting for all of you though - my V6 light harness had different plugs on it for the fog lights and the side marker lights. I could have just switched my V6 fog lights and marker lights over to the V8 bumper but luckily I bought the complete set up from the V8 car - it was unbolted and shipped. The V6 also has 4 clips/snaps holding the wiring harness plactic support whereas the V8 only has two clips/snaps holding it in. I'm just glad it's over and I can move onto the next mod which will be factory GFX painted black. Thanks, Rob

**Here is a photo of me painting. The other photo is the yellow front end installed before I drove 5 hours to use a friends body shop for the painting (and to hang out for a while) The whole painting process took three days and I unbolted it when I got there and painted it off the car.

I like it man. . . glad you put the RS logo in the front. . there's a local guy that did the same and he kept the SS emblem on the front.

Black car with a yellow bumper now that's a custom look no one will copy. Looks good, I actually like the bumper without the mailslot, serves no function.

I like the look, but personally wouldn't spend the money on it unless it was a really good deal. Nice job. Now, if I could find one cheap!!!

Looks good. Just an afterthought,Emblempros.com could've made you LT emblems, like they did for my LS.
