mdky2kss,

This must be a problem between my dealer and the "system". What you're suggesting is exactly what he did today (I just called him to verify what I thought I'd seen him do). It didn't work for us. I do sincerely hope that it works for everyone else.

Hello Rocket,

That is too bad that it didn't work for you guys. It is a lot quicker than having to start over from the beginning. I hope everyone else has good luck with this.

wooohoooo!!!!

YAY! I was able to add the Q9J option!

Ok, so this is what happened, I go into the dealership, and they are already looking at me, like oh no, here she comes again, lol

I didn't even have to tell him why I was there, he started checking on adding the polished wheel option...the workbench would not let him, so he called GM, and they were able to change it over the phone

He printed out my new order sheet, and everything was on there....BUT I seen something new, added to my order, and I don't know how it got there...it was option DCP Directions and Connections OnStar Service???

It's listed right there on my option codes...how did it get there? Does anyone else's have this? It wasn't on my previous order sheets....and I didn't ask for it....

I don't want any extra stuff to pay for...can anyone shed some light on this?

THANKS!!

this is kinda off topic but since now they are offering polished wheels for the rs do they offer spoiler delete for the rs? I am getting the high wing spoiler and I don't want there to be holes where the ss spoiler was

The kicker is that (at least at my dealer today), I had to cancel my order completely, then re-order everything again, including the polished wheels. This did, in fact work. I had re-ordered just last week when I changed body color, so this is the third 2SS/RS I've ordered; hopefully, I'll only have to pay for one. Neither "cancellation" cost me my spot in the pre-order allocation. I sincerely hope that this was just my dealer and everybody else is able to order in a less idiotic way.
sounds like yur luck runs like mine

350 HRSS,

WAY TO GO! I certainly prefer the way you did it over the way I did it

I just looked at my "latest" Preliminary Order Detail ... it too has the DCP option, as did my second one. My original one did not. I'm about as far from an expert as you can get, but I don't think that it's something that we're having to pay extra for (someone who knows feel free to step in here). Anyway,

BTW, my dealer hides when he sees me come in the door too!!

Polished Wheels w/ RS Package

I'm glad to hear that polished wheels are now available. My order for a 2SS was originally rejected with the addition of the polished wheels on the RS package. The dealer was able to order everything my way without the polished wheels. Now he can add that to the order. WooHoo

That second picture is my buddy Stan's 'vert.

He ordered that car in June, and was one of the FIRST CGM Corvette owners.

Good person - lives in NH, where that picture was taken.

The wheels in the first picture don't look polished. They look chrome. Am I wrong or do the polished wheels look like the wheels on the Silver SS we have all seen?

since lots of people have ordered, did anyone get actual prices when ordering? The 3 dealers here just said they will charge whatever when it gets here.
