authenticnikes picked up his car today at Basil. Patiently waiting for his review of the whole ordeal.

If he's anything like me, he had a 6-7 hr trip back to "the city" and then he has another 12-14 hours of just cruising around the homefront before we can expect to have even a snowball's chance in hell of hearing from him.

yeah nikes said he loved the painted stripes i wanted to get down there and see them but had to get my parents deck stained for them and was just beat after working all night i cant wait to see pics of his though since thats how i am having my stripes done. i love that CGM. how many have been delivered to basil now? i cant wait for you to see mine and post pics of mine before i get to see her i am sure lol. trents the man and thank you for clueing me in on basil its a great deal. i await talking to nikes to about how everything went for him as well. but i have to say i am pretty confident with steve i know the guys gotten bashed on here but he always gets back to me within a couple days and with all of us that ordered from him and want to know about our cars i am sure we drive him nuts on top of his other work that he has to do. i look forward to meeting steve sometime soon maybe i will take a drive out there tommorow and check out that CGM in person.

nikes said he should have pics up sunday. he knew i was getting my stripes painted there to and i am anxious to see how they turned out so i can tell steve to just have his guys start painting mine when she arrives. thanks trent for all your posts and replies i am glad you have waldo you and i will have to go do some cruising when i get my "insert name to be determined" delivered

You (all) are quite welcome. I'm pretty sure Steve will be there tomorrow so you should get to meet him then anyways. PM me when you're thinking of going down since as you know I have a few minor things to discuss with him anyways. Maybe I'll meet you down there. All these new Camaros at Basil and no black 2SS RS! Guy's I am dying here, it should have be there by now. If you go there please ask Steve where the 4th allocated V8 car is. This is getting scary and all I can find out is it is at 3400.



Why would they stick those plates on the front of the cars, I hope this does not happen to the sold cars!

Nope, no mistake other than one on Chevy's part apparently... at least it's an easy fix...

I will be sure to ask about your car Jim. As far as the license plate brackets go, they ARE NOT screwed on in the vehicles you see. They are on with dbl-faced tape so removal is relatively easy. Be sure to double check with Steve but for you "out of towners" I don't believe they even have to do that because the front plate laws of NY don't apply to you.

thats nice that they arent screwed on and are on with double sided tape. ok i thought i was seeing things last night in that picture. yeah at least its not that hard to fix. but i like the double sided tape gives me time to find another option for mounting it before the tape wears out.
