[QUOTE=lewylew;4671619]Is anybody making a cat that with hold up to supercharged cars.[/QUOTE
I have JBA Hi Flow cats and so does my buddy that makes 830rwhp for over two years on his GT-500. I have not had a single problem and I'm running a Turbonetics system now and no problems. Do a search on JBA mid-pipes/cats and show me who has posted BLOWN out cats like the rest. |

After reading all 17 pages of this thread, I have not seen one thing mentioned about warranty or bringing the car in the dealership for service. I am on the fence as to if I want to remove my cats or not. I know the obvious answer is to remove them, but having a warrantied supercharged kit I am concerned. Unfortunetly I do not have access to a lift making this setup a pain in the ass to change on floor jacks every time bringing the car in for service. Any thoughts or suggestions on this?

Agreed. And/Or...... Go to a junkyard (or exhaust shop), find some, Hog'em out, put'em on. For visual of course. (opinion only as I would never do this ) (offroad?) Save the good ones to bolt back on. Edit: I think any CAT SHELL (body) will work. Regardless of proper sizing (inlet/outlet) when you find it, cutting and welding can make anything work. Bitchin. I'm in need a of retune bad, and I need these puppies to install before I get the tune done. Also, I'll be sending you my midpipes with cats, so you can cut off the current cats and weld your new ones on .
