Just ordered 2SS 6-Speed Manual! 34 yrs old.

I am going to go with the LS3/M6. I am 41. It's been some time since I owned a Manual transmission, but my guess is it's like a bike...once you learn, you don't forget.

39...and I started with an L99 (lasted 2 weeks), and traded it back in for an LS3. Yes, I took it in the shorts...but there's nothing like the feel of a manual. Oh, and the paddle shifters on the L99 are pathetic unless you're doing drag. Once you turn the wheel 90+ degrees, they're useless. GM should have given both options for paddle shifting like on the Beemer...both on the wheel and on the shifter. Then it would have worked on the corners. If that would have been the case, I might have stuck with the auto.

Auto IMHO is just too damn boring, i love the feel that i as the driver have full control of this magnificent piece of art, what is the purpose of driving a vehicle with this spectacular caliber if you are not going to enjoy the full force of total control behind the wheel hence if you decide to ride then go with the auto tran. but if you want to drive then go with the manual just my 2 cents....

20 v6 auto

got the auto because it's a daily driver to commute to uni, and I live near Chicago 4 months a year. I can get mu manual fix on the weekend
