Also, Y2K10- You are right on. I have 2 orders right now for the same car because my dealer lied to me about his "open" allocation. Now, he swears he has allocation and by the 2000 status he does NOW, but he has done nothing but lie and blame our order on GM Production- when it was the dealer NOT having an open allocation-absolutely nothing to do with production issues. Now he is giving me a hard time about the deposit.

Now, on the other hand my "new" dealer was honest from the start and it was our luck that he was able to get our order in and moving and now we are at 3300 status. No BS, they're a larger dealer and they are on top of all cars. They are shipping cars everywhere. NO BS. Very key in dealing with these morons!!

I know exactly where you're coming from. You're not alone. "If" you ask all the right questions and they lie...I don't have an answer. But I would like to believe that if someone askes all the right questions "most" won't come right out and lie. At least I hope not. You're deposit is another issue...but for those stuck in 1100 limbo...two choices...cancel your order and go somewhere else or stay where you are and wait. I really believe that there are so many "good" dealers and salespersons it shouldn't be hard to find one that will treat you right. btw......good luck!
