Before everyone with a shipped status gets too excited, it could very well be that it shows that status if you have stripes

The dealer is supposed to call me today. You can't imagine the horror scenarios playing in my mind. I'm wondering if I shouldn't walk away from this one.

Any ideas on why QQZVX8 /Zl1 is only 3800 when he was in the first VIN group? Likewise, Mr. Lio the lone wolf is already at 4B00 - bayed. Any rhyme or reason to this?

Maybe there is some issue with ZL1s. Mine was built the week before and it is still at 3800.

My dealer told me the invoice estimated next Thursday as the delivery date.

Sorry for not searching but there is just soooooo many pages on this thread, but does anybody know how to find the codes and dates for a vehicle produced way back in 2010? Is it possible, or has it already been erased from the system?

Interesting. I just called my dealer and their answer was "We are waiting on an invoice from the factory." I thought to call b/c the first time around I sat at 1100 an inordinate amount of time. It turned out my dealer is part of a buying group and the buying group was processing a bunch of orders at once and hadn't gotten the allocation ... "I think/suspect".

Anyway, at some status code an invoice is created. What code that is I'm not sure. I had a hunch it might be 3800 hence my call to the dealer. Now, if what he's telling me is correct, the dealer/buying group is waiting on the MFR.
