My wife was asleep but woke up to get a glass of water. But I didn't hear her walk into the kitchen. So I'm looking at the, ah hem, vette pics and my wife scares the crap out of me with a, "what are you looking at?"

I was just, "I... uhm. well... CC .... its just that... uhm.. eeh... nothing."

She just did a "Mmm hmmm" and went to bed and showed me some cheek on the way to the bed room...

Knowing damn well she's gonna go right back to sleep...

Oh it's been 100+ for couple months. I am missing maybe 40-50 inches of rain last 2 years. All the wells are dry around my parts. Cows and horses dead. Most of th deer dead. All the water holes are dry. The lakes are at record lows. And we have 32 million acres with 4 billion dollars estimated crop damage.

Dang man. It's been hot here, but we've been getting rain relief. We just had a storm come through out of nowhere with 60mph+ winds w. I was picking up branches all day today.

We've had like 2-3 inches of rain all ready this month. Around 30 all year.

Yea I am not allowed to use any water outside. None... no hand watering. no Car. techncially I can't water pets (which is the biggest load of excrement I have ever heard).

Not seen a single local politician that has wanted to help. They are all of the same party.. I'll just let you guess what party that is. They want to raise taxes, add toll roads and taxes for light rail. None of which we need. We need some ******* water. Where are the helicopters and ice trucks?

Well sorry for the bitching. Just going thru a disaster sucks.
