Took mine out this morning in light snow (southern Maryland) while no one else was on the road. It's on Blizzak tires and handling was good. It even held when I intentionally fishtailed it to see how it felt. I'm confident that it can deal with more now!

We don't have accumulation yet but there was maybe 1/2 inch in the parking lot, never slipped. Tires have been great down to 3F too. Will keep posting experiences. I can tell they drive much better than stock tires for this kind of weather.

I live in Frederick Maryland and woke up this morning at 3am to my friend phoning me to get him to the hospital cause he broke his leg. He lives in Columbia MD. Tried to take the Camaro, big mistake. I couldn't even leave my neighborhood. I still have the stock summer tires on my 2LT RS.

I want to get some 17'' wheels and some Blizzaks. That way I'll have a winter set. Does anyone know for sure if the 17" wheels will fit? Any help would be appreciated.

These snow tires are great, my first set of snow tires ever and I'm in my 40's. They totally kick ass.

I live in Montreal, Quebec (Canada BTW) and went to a winter driving event in my SS M6 Camaro with Pirelli snow and ice tires and my car was awesome! In fact, the very morning if the event at the Esterel hotel, two drivers couldn't start their respective rides, an Audi Wagon and a Chevy Avalanche because it was minus 42 Celcius! My LS3 with synthetic started over no problem and I let her warm up! The two lane roads were ice covered and the stability and traction aids were amazing!

Here are some images from the road trip. It's all in the tires guys and the balance of the car. All the nannies were more than welcome!

I'd love to drive in a few inches of snow, I bet these tires will rock. I've only driven in 2 inches of snow and the car drove great.

Ordered a set of 17" MSW Type 22s along with some Blizzak DM-V1s yesterday afternoon from Tire Rack, and they were out for delivery the next day. Nice! It's convenient that you guys are just over in Delaware, not far at all for me.

UPDATE: Went from ordering to delivered in less than 24 hours. Thanks for the tires Tire Rack! Hope we get some more snow now so I can test em out.

First real test today of the Blizzaks.
Four inches of fresh snow on the street not yet driven on. Went right through it no problem at all.
Is this the best car for the snow...no. But the tires make a huge difference and for those that can't afford a second car it's the best option.

If you have an SS or LT/RS you really need winter tires because they come with summer tires. Its really not optional.
