I have been following this thread for a while, but have been scared to reply. Not because I'm scared to talk to everyone, but scared to be excited about talking about my ordered Camaro. I just don’t want to jinks anything. With that said I received my VIN today #34620 a 2SS IOM and yes I bought from BIG AL at JOE SELF. Heck, I thank he is the only guy that works there. So far they have been ok to work with. We will see if that holds true! I do live in Derby and look forward to meeting some of you in Wichita area at Old Chicago if I can ok it with the Boss.

More the merrier. I almost went with Joe Self but Big AL was a ass to me and wouldn't release info to me about their allocation... plus he sounds like those annoying car commercials 24/7

Also, Special thanks to Abygale & Jschuler for joining us as well! Can't wait till you all get yours!
Also thank you to the 2 Wichita Dyno guys that showed up, for the life of me I can't remember their names, I apologize!

Was a blast to see some Camaros together for once and the friendship that they bring with them.

We will have to do this again sometime!!

I live and work in wichita..I don't own a new Camaro yet, I'll wait till the soon to be converibile shows up on the used market in about 10 years and add it to my group...I do have a 9-second pro street '67 SS Camaro my dad bought new and my 1987 IROC-Z 5.7 auto I bought new that ran 10.20s with NOS and a 2002 Z28 'vert. that now has a custom NOS system that I'll tune at my shop Wichita Dyno...And also a 1968 SS El Camino 396 auto that sits beside my 1968 Yenko Chevelle...yes I have a big home shop..

I'm so glad that I got to see all of you yesterday (and get my weekly fix) because as of today my camaro has been ordered!!!!!!! I drove over 4 hours today and I think I enjoy it more because I watch out for camaros on the other side...today it was rally yellow....

Did you all stop traffic with all those Camaro's sitting there in Wichita?? We went down by the Argosy to the Camaro Club Show Saturday. Met Lochness and saw his car and several others. Really nice show with lots of 1st Gen Camaros. Cant wait for us to get our new one so we can take it and show it off.
