I will be sure to ask about your car Jim. As far as the license plate brackets go, they ARE NOT screwed on in the vehicles you see. They are on with dbl-faced tape so removal is relatively easy. Be sure to double check with Steve but for you "out of towners" I don't believe they even have to do that because the front plate laws of NY don't apply to you.

Wow, GM really goes over the car with a fine tooth comb for the 3 weeks it was in QC.

trent how many have been delivered to basil now?

i think i still have double digits that were ordered in front of me but i hold out hope for july at least would be nice to have it by august to pull into that company picnic with this badboy.

9076 on the Basil lot is mine - it arrived on Friday 5/23 - but alas, no invoice and it's a holiday weekend - so no GM dealer services to help me out - plus the body shop is closed until Tuesday, so no stripe package yet either.

I already waited 2 1/2 months, so I can wait another few days.

Steve was cool about it - called me Friday morning to let me know, even though it was his day off, and gave me the straight scoop today.

It would have been very cool to have it over the long weekend though.

Hey sorry I was MIA guys, but you can't blame me. I was beat Friday night from the 10 hour trip back, and then was rolling around with my baby Saturday. I will take pics today, possibly in a an hour and post them. The ride is sweet!!!! Everywhere I go people give me thumbs up, or take pics

And yes, Steve couldn't stay to finish my deal because he was off, but he did stop by to make sure everything went smooth and it did. They gave me the 500 over invoice, and were very easy to work with. As far as the stripes go, I couldn't be more happier. The black gloss stripes offered by them are definitely the way to go if you're looking for black stripes. The HID lights are awesome, the interior is 100X better than I expected. I have to get use to the car because I've never owned a muscle car and the view is a little rough compared to my old sedan, but I'm slowly getting comfortable in it. I couldn't be more happy with the v6 btw. I drove from buffalo to NY, over 420 miles I believe, and it took one tank of gas!!!! :-D I then filled her up, and it was about 34 dollars to fill up the gas on E !!!!! :-D Okay so be back soon with pics for you guys! You're gonna love your cars!!!!!

Man I can't wait much longer! I promised myself I'd only call Steve every 2 weeks though, so that puts me at June 1st. Hopefully it'll be at 3800...

IMPORTANT MESSAGE !

Basil's last 10 cars were pulled this past Thrusday; as in all their allocation is now used up. HOWEVER anyone who has been thinking of ordering and hasn't yet has until Tuesday morning to call Steve and change any one of the ten cars to your preferred combination. As of now, the ten will be dealer stock. That's impressive to me because it obviously means chevy is well ahead of the September completion schedule for "round one".

You may very well be. As I said in the PM to you, it appears cars are now on a 7-8 week delivery status.

Also for the other people here keep in mind that allocation is use it or lose it. Basil has no choice but to order the remaining cars as stock units once they were available to be pulled or "forfeit" them.

Oh yea I forgot to add that Corey, a dealer at basil, picked me up from the airport and gave me a ride to basil, SWEET!!! Thanks to Trm for giving us the goods on this dealership.

For a second there I thought you were saying that the last 10 cars that had been ordered at Basil had been pulled for production... I was getting ready to...

But that's cool, you're a good man for keeping everyone informed of the good deals at Basil!
