If this is true....just add it to the list of things GM promised and can't deliver on..Guess what, if you run a company that way you will eventually go out of business...Oh wait you are!!!

Why only put it on the doors? That is tacky as hell, and will look rediculous, it should be made an option, so people with some self respect dont need to put it in their cars!

This is the proper analogy -- imagine that your favorite fast-food chain runs commercials promoting a new burger that will be coming out soon including showing "pre-release" pictures of what the burger will "look like" -- and you believe, based on early marketing materials, it will have three slices of red onion. When the day approaches, however, you notice that the commercial has changed slightly and the picture only shows two slices of onion and they are white! <gasp>

It would be unreasonable to think that you should be able to demand a five-cent discount when you go to buy one because it doesn't match your earlier vision of the burger but it would be simply ridiculous for someone else to suggest that you should should prostrate yourself at the feet of some fast-food magnate for honoring you with the privilege of buying their burger.

Or am I missing something here?

I think maybe if they never would have had it across the dash and only in the doors it might not look so bad, but alot of people saw the whole package and are just disapointed. I think it will look just fine.

i really hope its not going to be plastic on the doors and cloth on the dashboard. I rather look at midget strippers than that.

I think it's very likely that 99% of the people who are getting the 2010 Camaro already made their decision way before ever even hearing about any kind of ambient lighting. Get off the hate train, everyone... I mean seriously... reminds me of high school again.

I can't wait for my 2SS/RS, and I know that I will be 100% impressed when it arrives.
