2011 Z28
Been hearing different stories about the new Z28. Does anyone know if it certain that it is coming out? And if it is, when?
I also heard that it will come equipped with the same engine as the ZR-1 Corvette and the price range will be about $45-50,000. ANY truth in any of this? Just don't want to wait for something that is never coming!!

It will just be a supercharged version of the engine that's already in the SS, not the setup the Z06 has.
And it's not coming out anytime soon. |

 There have been numerous posts on whether it comes back or not. That being said 45k to even 50k doesn't seem right pricepoint, my 2SS/RS is just below 40k, so there is no way to add that engine and keep it in that ballpark just my opinion. |

Not a snowballs chance in hell the Z will be made anytime soon. As long as GM is taking gov't money they wouldn't dare. I'm just glad the new Camaro was well into it's final
stages, or we may have never seen this one. I hope the Z does come back and if GM can come on strong, which I personally think they will, I have no doubt it will be the BEST Z28 every built.

I can't imagine that GM will do the Z28....at this point I am happy we even have the choices we do...lord knows how long we will see the Camaro.
