The wife needed a new car and we had decided on a 2015 2SS as they were at the right price point for us, and had the options she wanted. I spotted the green one for sale and went to see it at the chevy dealer. It has 7.000 miles and boy is she a beaut!
It was priced the same as all the other cars we were looking at, but I knew it was obviously a special order car or something. We knew nothing about the "Green Flash" till we got it home. It seems we got a good deal....
Welcome to the Green Flash club!!! Be prepared to get lots of remarks, since there were less than 1000 coupes and convertibles made, there are very few running around.

Happy Motoring!!!

That's kind of funny considering they all look the same color except for being coupes or convertibles......

I don't have any decent pictures of the green flash yet. It's been stormy since we bought it and it's languishing in the garage. I do have a picture of my other green car. It's widely known as the "Green machine"

Always loved the Camaro. Happened into a CarMax in Houston while there on business. I saw this unique Emerald Gren Camaro, and had to look closer. The sales guy as typical did not know anything about it. He said its just a SS. I pointed out that none of the other SS's had these larger wheels, and the paint scheme is completely different. What about these ground effects? Yeah he said, I thought it was diffferent. It's now mine, at$30,000 with only 8000 miles. I absolutely love this car. Just picked up yesterday.
I drive 30,000 miles a year in my work. I did look into tires before I bought it. Are there any options other than $2000 a set? I intend to drive it long distances weekly. One thought I have is to put 20" SS wheels on it and preserve the originals, unless anyone has another idea that is less costly.

Welcome to the group and congrats on the new ride What does the car have? Auto or manual, suprised you found it at Carmax. If you are looking to drive 30,000 miles a year, yes go to something cheaper than the stock issue 21's. They are expensive to say the least.
Might want to check the parts for sale section for a deal on a good used set to use. Good Luck
By the way the wheels to buy new are $850.00 each and tires are around $250-275 .At $30,000.00 for purchase that's a good deal!
Coupe or vert? Forgot to ask earlier.
