Paul...................we will leave with the cruise from Ankeny and cruise with them TO Stratford. When everyone turns into Stratford..............we will contine going on straight ahead and then turn north to by-pass the town of Stratford and proceed to Dolliver State Park where we will pick a nice spot, get out our lawn chairs and relax and watch as the cruise comes by us.

For now it looks like the weekend should be nice! I'd say highs just in the 50s is a little cool, but better than being so hot I guess.

I've been looking forward to the show this Saturday for a while! I haven't been to very many events to meet many of you guys so hope to on Saturday.

Who is planning on going?

Generally after the cruise gets through the park, we generally go somewhere and eat. By then................I've seen all the cars I really want to see.

JD that sounds good! I was just curious as I know different people go about that day different ways.

I have gone as a spectator and like to get up to Stratford to look at stuff and then get going out of town to watch the burnouts. I know some people that take their cars to Stratford and then head out to watch burnouts then take off. From the burnouts I skip over the park and head to Fort Dodge to see what is all there.

Now thinking I may do things a little different by going to Stratford and then leaving for the park before all the cars do to watch them roll through. I guess I will have to figure all of that out.

ISU, I (and possibly my dad) will be cruising down in my '76 from the Nevada/Ames area Saturday morning. I will likely be taking back roads, thru Bondurant (S-14 I believe) though.
