They were good! We ended up going to San Antonio over the holiday weekend. It was a nice little getaway for our honeymoon. As always way too short. Had a few "to do" items we didn't get to do because of lack of time. Same thing happend in Indy as well and we were there for 2 weeks!

well guys bad news, guess it was my turn

today some other vehicle hit the camaro, wasnt to bad, but it sucks
will try to post pics later,

he wanted to cross to my lane and hit my driver fender and broke my rear view mirror

well i need, the EPPD gave me his insurance and policy number

its called transportation insurance company
havent heard from them and im trying to get their contact number and cant find anything any of you know this insurance

Hey all!! Sorry I have been absent for a few weeks. Things have been crazy hectic here at work. I'm hoping to catch up soon and I can get back on here. In the meantime, I wanted to let you all know that a friend of mine is selling his Camaro. Here are the details:

A friend of mine is selling his 1999 Camaro Z28 LS1, 114k Miles, 17” Chrome Wheels, Ultra Z Hood, SLP Air Box Lid, K/N Filter, Alpine CD Player, 2 – 12” Kenwood Woofers and amp, exhaust is all straight pipe and this bad boy is LOUD!!! The clearcoat is peeling back because an old friend of ours did a crappy job of it. He had it done because there was a pinstrip that he had removed and didn't want the lines showing from where they were. Ask away if you have any questions!!

Wow, that car needs a complete repaint job, and new headlight lens covers. I don't mean to put your friend's car down, but it looks kind of rough right now. It doesn't show much TLC. Looks like it's been baking in the sun for years.I'd be surprised if he can get 5k for his car in it's current condition. I'm no expert though. Is he thinking about replacing it with a 5th gen?

Yeah, I can do that. I have been trying to get him to come out with us but he hasn't wanted to because he wasn't a 5th Gen and because of the paint. I told him no one would look down on him, a Camaro is a Camaro, and I understand why she ended up in the conditions she is in now. Thanks, let me know what's next in the plans and if he has it still I'll make sure he comes out with us to show her off. She was a beauty in her day, and the sound makes you wanna . Yeah, I know it wouldn't take too much to get the paint touched up, and you are right someone would take it if that was the worst thing on the car.

Question for the group here. When I ordered my 2LS, I was pretty hacked off at GM, because I couldn't get Boston Premium Sound as an option for this car. I've been reading this forum, and have read a lot of complaints about Boston Premium. Now I'm thinking I didn't miss out on much. The 1LT with BP would have cost me an extra $2200. Nah.

Here's my question. Anybody here have Boston Premium, and what do you think of it?

If I don't like my stock radio, I may go to Alamo Auto Supply, and see what they can do to improve it. And I've read that the $1000 subwoofer system you can order with the car is just crap. GM needs to raise their game on stereo systems for these camaros. A sports car like this, which is popular with young people should have a kick-ass stereo system. Helloooo. I'm 59, and I want a kick-ass stereo system.

I'm hoping my car will arrive 2nd half of Sept. It seems to be taking forever to get here. Ordered on 8/2, and salesman told me 6 to 8 weeks, so I'm just getting impatient. It was built last week of August.

Thank you all for the welcome at last week meeting. It was fun. I have some Brand new Extreme Dimension 2010 - 2012 Camaro Carbon Fiber Side Skirts for sale. Fits Camaro V6 and SS models. Professional installation recommended. There is nothing wrong with them, I change my mind and bought another body kit. Let me know if anybody is interested or knows somebody that is. Thanks
