OK over the last two weeks I've completed my task to see if my little ole Camaro was putting out the right stuff. Does my stock car produce the advertised 426 HP and 420 Torque?
So I put it on the dyno and went to the drag strip. Here are the results: - RWHP = 366 Torque = 369 on a Dynojet - Trap speed 108 mph - ET of 13.6 (a bit high but that was me - not the car - poor launch) Overall those numbers seem to indicate per all I've read on this forum and in the car mags that I have a healthy, normal SS LS3. |

Just got a Imp. Blue 1LT.... Will be my wifes daily driver. Got the conv package, white stripe package, and the 19'' rims (to be replaced when the tires need changed, American Racing Phantoms leading the pack for now).
Live in Tuscarawas county. Just bought first mod............ Found SLP LoudMouth II axle back on ebay for $275! Not going to do much more than exhaust and rims..... Maybe a grille if there is one better than stock (heritage = stock) |
