Does ANYONE have exhaust tips (clamp on) that will fit the borla ATAK?!?! I need them for Saturday!

Also, isn't the ATAK a 2.5 inch system? So I'd need a 2.5 inch inlet and a __ size outlet?

Here are the axle back version of the ATAK.

I have the catback ATAK that comes with no tips as it is made for Ground FX cars.

I don't see a difference other than one having tips.

Now I just need to figure out what tips will work and I'll go buy some at a store.

I could cut off some of the borla tips from Chip's set that I haven't taken off of the callaway yet. J/K. Why don't you call Borla and see about overnighting them? That would probably be cheap

I talked to Borla but they said they didn't know if the GFX kit would fit the non gfx car and didn't want to sell me the wrong tips.

Don't scare me like that Joe!

JT I say you try to go a custom route and find aftermarket tips that stand out from normal Borla tips. It'd be cool and different.

I'm trying to, but I'm getting a feel that MTI doesn't want to have to "fab up" different tips. They just want to bolt on the kit and be done.

By fab I mean, probably have to trim the borla tip pipe a little to make my aftermarket tips fit.

When I had my exhaust done they had to use some kind of transition, don't know the mechanics word for it, to have my stock tips fit. They welded them too.

I came home today to this sight! First it was my DD then my C5 then his Rustang. Now it's my DD, My C5 (when it gets back), his GT, and his Rustang! I smell a plot ! I like the color tho, may ask him to the drags with us !

I agree Went from just a turbo kit to far more than that now ! I am WAY over my intended amount! I should have it back in time for the Drag meet in March! Turbo's are suppose to be done this week. Then it moves to the suspension part. Then the engine gets it's treatment of parts. Then ALL my fluids come out and replaced with AMSoil's all around. Then it's dyno tune and 1/4 mile run. I'm never going to get her back!
