Stripes look great Nike! Did you ask for the front license plate holder?

Thanks! Yea they did an awesome job with the stripes. I actually said I did not want a front plate. Steve told me they'd tape the front plate because of their inspections I have to leave the dealership with a front plate, and told me I could remove it later on, but I haven't tried removing it yet. I called him just to verify if it was drilled or not, and haven't got a response yet. Patiently waiting. Either way I'd be happy, but I prefer it to not be drilled. Will let you guys know when I find out.

as far as a post trent put up the other night all the front plates were put on with double sided tape so they shouldnt be drilled. that yellow looks sharp i gotta admit. and those black stripes definately pop

think he said he was gonna have to wait cause the body shop is closed til tuesday so they cant put the stripes on before that. and that his invoice hadnt showed up when the car did.

yea thx the car does pop and I am very happy with my choice. I think every color in this car is sexy so we'll all be happy with our choices. And yes you guys are right, the plate holder I believe has double sided tape. I'm afraid I found out very late and don't want to pull off the plate holder in fear that my paint has chipped. Anyone know if the paint will be in tact?

"Saw" it off with fishing line between the tape and bumper. SLOWLY AND CONSISTENTLY.

worst case is that it's chipped and you have to put the plate holder back on. You can use "goo be gone"... works great.. squirt it on the seam where the tape meets the bumper from the top, be liberal with it. let it soak down through the tape. A couple applications wont hurt, then gently lift and pry the plate holder away from the bumper.

Fishing line works great, I like to use the goo be gone to lube it up first, it should go through the tape pretty easily. If there's any residue, use the goo be gone and a soft cloth to clean it off.

Believe it or not a good alternative to goo b gone is car wax. Simply apply whatever wax you plan ok using to the area where the "stickey" remains and as you continually work it in the glue will come off. It isn't a two minute process but its usually quite effective and won't hurt the paint.

thx for the tip guys. I'm going to order some goo be gone to soak it for a couple of hours, and later apply zaino wax to the area to clear the rest.

My car came in without an invoice. I just spoke with Steve and he said maybe he'll get an invoice today. I'm not holding my breath.

No. My car was shipped very quickly. The shipping company (AAG), had the car on Monday May 11 and delivered Friday, May 22. I'm not sure when the car was built but judging from vin numbers close to mine from other members of this site, I would say late Friday, May 8 or early Monday, May 11.
