Honestly doesn't matter sycaft dyno. I think we have established dyno readings are arbitrary. Unless he did a dyno for a mod, a dyno without a before and after is really meaningless. A dyno is like arguing magazine numbers. It is a tool for before and after and nothing else. The track is for one time results.

Yeah Yellow_Glide the tune is MACE but Trifecta work closely with Steve when it comes to the tuning What is interesting with the above dyno sheet is the AFR being a pretty consistent 13.

Noticed the AFR was almost flat, probably need just a bit more fuel to sort things out. Good to hear Steve has the relationship with Vince

Matt and I talked for a while today and he said the AFR on the current tune was running 11 (and showing the same on the AFR gauge) which is a little rich but not bad. He also said he did several WOT pulls for the data log and the car pulls really well. I told Matt to try 65mph in 5th, drop two gears and stand on the throttle. He laughed and said "you probably won't have to drop two gears any more." LOL.

Vince should be returning the updated file any time, anxious to see where we end up on the AFR. If it comes in on Saturday, Matt will reload and do some more road testing and data logs. We'll have to get Vince to call the final tune the "MACE" tune so everyone can ask for it by name. Maybe I can convince Matt or Tracy to take the car to Bradenton on Sunday for Test / Tune and make a couple of passes or in a week or two when they get heads and intake installed.

Looking forward to see how the car runs.

LOL well that sounds promising indeed. I know how mine feels at 4000-5000rpm and the potential is there...oh I so need that tune. So was the 11 AFR at WOT? Hope that is not the cruising AFR or it will be ploughing through the fuel.

Lol, yeah, 11 at WOT but for the initial tune and data logging would rather be rich than lean. I'm guessing AFR will end up near low 12s - we'll see.

It was actually mid 11's and then into high 11's... Generally you are shooting for high 12's A/F on N/A motors, with a bit of a dip in the fuel curve. Honestly though guys my knowledge is in the LSx motors (5k+ tuned motors) rather than the LLT's. Vince has a great knowledge base on the LLT's, I can only comment in general form on where the A/F - Timing, etc. should be. And yes this is on the rich side, which is a great way to start. I will say the car idles and drives really well and that was the first tune we did install.

Keep you guys in the loop,

Matt

So in a N/A car high 12's is what you want?

And on FI cars you want mid 11's?

Depends on the motor, application, and fuel used. This is VERY general. I shoot for on a street car low to mid 11's on boosted applications, and mid to high 12's on N/A applications. Like I said, in general, the LSx motors like to be a tad bit richer in the torque peak (4400-4800rpm). Once again, this is VERY GENERAL...

Yellow: No Bradenton tomorrow for me... My car should be down here on transport next week. I could always take this yellow Camaro with the big cams in it j/k !

Not wanting to read 20 pages of this thread, I have a few questions.

1.) How much are these going to cost?
2.) How much HP/Torque are these gonna add?
3.) Will this be compatible with ghost cam tune? (even though its probably unnecessary)

1.) The cams are around $1,200-$1,500. As for install, send SC2150 a PM.
2.) Waiting for the tune to be perfect before they put it on the dyno. Hopefully it'll add around 30 rwhp.
3.) The cam by itself is badass. Check a couple pages back for the videos.

ROFLMAO - that was my intention!!!! Seriously, if the opportunity arises after everything is on the car - a couple of passes with time slips would be great to support the potential of the build but you are Tracy would be driving. I have zero time in a manual at the track - so running in the 15s, with a 4 second 60 ft time wouldn't be my first choice.

1.) Think MACEs original pricing was $1500 AU, some caught a discount due to the extra costs involved for being first to do this. PM Steve at MACE_ENG.
2.) Cams only should more than 30, add heads and I think it will be a really good number.
3.) No GC with the big cams.
