Just curious on everyone's number. or when convertible productions began. I have a 2013 hwse vert and when i did my certificate it says mine is number 230. Haven't scene where the verts started production in comparison to the coupes

So if they made 40 or so verts for indy and they where the first productions. So around 165 would be the starting point assuming they made them all at once

52 total for Indy use. They were on site April 4, 2013, and the Indy cars were used as the rollout for the convertibles according to this article:

http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1...up-to-indy-500

Although my car was stickered #3, I doubt if they were numbered sequential to production. It would be interesting to see if anyone has a lower production number convertible.

I would assume that all convertible hwse where built at the same time considering they came out of same plant and i don't believe gm would switch tooling mid run.....if someone knows better please enlighten ...

So quick common core math..... Assuming the cars where built all at once with approximately 300 total built and the 52 where built first ... Yours is #165 and Indy tag 3

So 1st one would be #163
Last Indy would be #215
And last vert number should be around 463

Any other owners chime in with your number .....especially if you have a coupe in this range or a vert not in the range.

Pretty sure it doesn't work that way. As I understand it, convertibles take more time to build so they space them out a bit in the assembly line, and high option or special equipment cars like HWSE would never be one after another. I went and checked the VINs 10 plus or minus on each side of mine on the HWSE Certificate site and none of them were HWSE convertibles.

You have to remember that Camaros are not the only cars being manufactured from that plant now. So the seq. numbers or vins. maybe different.

Absolutely correct. VINs are likely very far apart and may not be sequential too. I'm doing a little VIN vs. Build number research, will post later.

Be wary of the check digit
