so to not use the gps antenna provided in the kit i can use the original antenna for the new unit with a splitter to keep the onstar on?

Maybe you can use this GM OEM p/n 20960972 I used with my mod

Well the programming that is needed is literally the only thing holding up Ofer from releasing these kits - DWALEX did it the way a dealer could, via TIS2Web, but hasn't explained how he did it.
