OK, the car is running pretty good right now, so the cam is going in during the winter months -- its too much fun right now not to drive it. Since its 'hotter' here now, the car starts and warms up quick and idle has improved quite a bit now that its broken in.

Probably will start on it in December and do it over a weekend (Fri - Sun).

Got my kick panel badges from Roger and installed them -- like how they covered the SS:

Before:

After:

My other project was to get my 2002 Kawasaki Mean Streak running! Got it going and rode it around -- love it and it is a gem (3300 miles):

And then I'll get my 2000 Kawasaki VN800 Drifter going (looks like an Indian):

So -- off to get the z/le detailed tomorrow and get ready for Camaro Fest!. Major Mods on hold until Fall when I'll put in the new Cam. Enjoying the car as it is too much ;o)

Work's been crazy lately. Driven the car only 2 times in the last 2 weeks (Tons of rain and crazy hours).

Did have 1 clear day to Drive up to Oklahoma and get this sweet ride (2003 100th Anniversary HD V-Rod -- great deal too):

Now, need to find time to ride, drive, and get my other project tasks done!

Very easy. Once thing to note:

I wanted to see what issues I'd have if it was installed on the passenger's side.

It will interfere with the seat release:

Now, a shorter extinguisher would work, but not the one recommended in the kit. So, I did install it on the driver's side.

The bracket was easy to put together and using the extinguisher's clasp:

To install, I used the 7/16 wrench and this beauty (1/4 with extension and 3/16 allen socket)

Bolted up nice:

Seat operated fine, no issue hitting the fire extinguisher. I like the saftey feature this gives me. I'd like one on the passenger's side, so maybe the shorter extinguisher will work.

Like this very much...

Thanks Simon!

Next, Gen5Diy footwell lighting...

-Don
Love seeing these posts ... FYI I now have a shorter extinguisher listed at the front of my posts so that you can mount on the passenger side.

So great to see this!

Thanks Don

Just wanted to update on the the kit:

I've put 3000 miles on the car since I installed the ADM LSA Kit. The car has been top notch and running super!

The cam from GPI (SS1) has broken in nicely and really performs well -- even @ idle. I will be swapping out the cam later, but the car is so much fun to drive right now. The supercharger kit is amazing and seeing how its running, I want to express my joy in how well everything has come together -- for a DIY project. Took it out tonight for a 50 mile drive and just love the way it runs on the highway -- WOT from a take-off is SCARY fun -- but only 'controlled' situations and just really short burst -- nothing to get me in trouble ;o). Man, I'm just thankful I was able to install this myself -- its been unbelievable how the kit has performed...

Those of you who have it installed -- go out and ENJOY it for a while -- before getting the HP bug ;o)

Hey sick work sir, do those footwell lights work in relation to car lights, meaning do they come on and off as ur normal interior lights does. And if not, is there a way to set up to work in relation to your stock interior lights???

Thanks!

Yes, they work like the dome lights. It's tapped into the same circuit. Got these from Gen5Diy. Really like them. Easy to install too...
