Im glad you guys at least have the GT500 to have some kind of performance bragging rights..
but your still nothing of a middleman between the camaro and corvette. and even then we can mod the camaro to have 100 more rwhp and same price.

bro your acting like the Mustang GT is so much slower if you call it that then the 2010 Camaro SS last time I checked there times were .2 seconds different and what your car has 111 more hp?

No im just saying stock for stock its been proven camaro wins regardless of peoples personal opinions of exterior/interior.
Im not saying the GT is a bad car. Its really all about personal preference.

I just said that basically because the GT500 is blowing up these forums and its pretty sad its being bragged so much about..especially we dont have the z28 out or coming out?

it competes with the zo6 and srt10 viper and hasnt been made in 3 years. Last time I checked it had a faster 0-60 but zo6 beat it 1/4 mile.

Zr1 is one of a kind. and also 40-50k cheaper than the GT was. 110k vs 150k something like that.

By price this is what we should be comparing in 2010..

camaro SS vs. Mustang GT
Corvette C6 vs GT500
Corvette Zo6 vs. GT500kr


I say middleman because what is the GT500 intended to compete with?
a modded camaro?
thats really the only thing I can see considering it cant hang with a corvette stock for stock.

it's not really meant to. The corvettes are the performance bars for sure since there are no pony cars in the vicinity, but they aren't built to necessarily compete with them. It's a unique car with a niche all to itself and, on top of that, the undesputed king of the pony cars.

I would call the Vette a sports car, not a pony car or muscle car. Now, when we talk 2 seat sports cars, there are a few fast cars in that zip code...

the corvette definitely is a sports car. imo its the only sports car worth buying.
