It's illegal for an Ontario resident to own a Quebec plated car. Having said that, you could legally drive a car which was owned by a Quebec resident or business that you have a relationship with. So as long as the car is not in your name, you will be okay.

That is music to my ears. My uncles wants to buy me a viper or porshe 911 turbo, im not sure how legit he is really being, but im going to call him tomorow night and work out all the details with him and maybe order in quebec, and ill try to get him to pay the extra for the SS! But for now, all i know is that im getting my 2LT/RS! Hopefully i can do that insurance thing, then i could afford the insurance on the SS! But i dont want to get my hopes up yet...

Called my dealer today, and he still can't enter my order in GM workbook. He tells me that the price of the 2SS, and the destination are there, but no pricing for any of the options! Has anyone else been successful ??

Yeah, no shit!
If your Uncle will spring for a 911 Turbo, go for it!

You can always pay him back some day.

Im not sure how legit he is, he always says things, he has the money to back it up, but im not sure if he was being 100% serious when he was talking to him, the 911 turbo would be used he said, but the viper would be new. His friends owns a dealership in Montreal. Im hoping he would do that for me, or atleast pay the difference to get me the 2SS which is only about 8-10k different. All i know is that im getting my 2LT/RS for sure, but i should know by the end of this week if he will do it for me. I personally just want to do the buisness thing so that i only have to pay very little for insurance. But the SRT-10 is looking pretty sweet to me...i dont want to get my hopes up because im sure i will be technically let down. My uncle bought his younger brother, my other uncle, a brand new CLS for him, but the fact that i dont live in Montreal with him might be the only factor as to why he wouldnt get me the viper. Ill let you guys know when i find out. I would love to get a 2SS, i wonder if i can cut a grand or two or anything if i pay cash. Does anyone think i could work a good deal if paying cash and i mean IF(not guarenteed yet).

Conv & Con Pack(Includes remote vehicle start with auto trans)(SRJ): 685
IOM(W1H) 575
RS(WRS) for 1LT or 2LT:1995
RS for 1SS or 2SS: 1670!!
Auto(MX0): LS/1LT w/o SRJ: 1180
1LT with SRJ or 2LT(Includes Remote Start):1435
1SS:1180
2SS(Includes Remote Start):1435

Tire inflate kit(SGC):175
Block heater(K05): 100
Front Plate mounting provisions(VK3): 15
Red Jewel Tintcoat(GAQ):380
Premium Audio Sys(UQA):570
Stripes(B7X/B7W): 1SS or 2SS:455
Sunroof(CF5):1195
Wheels(Polished 19's - Q9B):830 on 1LT, 540 on 2LT
Wheels(Polished 20's - Q9J):540 (1ss and 2SS)
All Limited Promotion Options Accessories don't have prices listed: They all just come with the star that says "*Parts Shipped Separately. Dealer Installed"
Taxes not include in any of the above prices.
If this stuff has been posted already, I apologize for the repeat. The discrepencies may be due to remote start being included or not.
That's all I got now, can somebody confirm/dispute these values?
The more I look at this "WRS" option, the more I think there should be 3 different prices. What do you guys think ?

1LT has 18" painted rims

2LT has 19" painted rims

1SS/2SS has 20" painted rims

It looks like they created 2 prices for the RS package instead of 3. If you ordered an LT, the RS option will cost you $1,995. If you ordered an SS package, the RS option will cost you $1,670. I had thought there was 3 packages for the reason that each model came with different sized wheels as standard. 1LT 18" ... 2LT 19" and 1SS & 2SS came with 20" wheels as standard. I figured the difference had to do with the costs to upgrade the wheels all to the 20" Midnight Silvers. RetroDude
They have also clarified the automatic transmission package by reducing the price for anyone buying a 2SS. The MXO option for the LS/1LT/1SS is $1,180 and the MX0 option for the 2LT and 2SS is $1,435.
I agree with this pricing change as the only difference in pricing now is that the $255 difference is for the Auto-Start which is included with the 2LT & 2SS models. This makes more sense, but is there an option to delete the Auto-Start on the 2LT & 2SS if you really don't want it??

Finally got my order in.... I'm still not happy about the pricing, but I gotta have my new Camaro !!!

Silver Ice Metallic / Black Int.
2SS / Ls3
Polished Rims
Sun Roof

I decided against the RS option, due to price..... We'll see what the after market comes up with...

The aftermarket will have soo much to offer for the Camaro. I bet there will be concept style headlights and tailights. Congrats on the order

Thanks !!

I sat with my dealer this morning, and we were going over the prices... After taxes, the RS option is $1900 cdn.... The headlights are the only reason I was considering the RS package, but I just couldn't do it. I'll use that money for some other mods .....

Edit: I gave in, and finally took the RS option...

Congrats on the beautiful car! Something tells me you're going to regret the purchase next summer though!
