raising the rear would help by compressing the shocks (set soft) on launch - efficient weight transfer.

Not sure how much you would gain on a sreet car.

My 900 HP Camaro was set with coil springs soft enough to hold the car up and not much else. The Shocks do all the work. By allowing the weight to transfer to the rear of the car, the Center of gravity would be 2-3' below the rear end housing (in the cement). it would then lift the front wheels 2' in the air for 90 feet or more down the track. This was a super stock car with a 540 Big Block...
Lots of fun but expensive to run. 4 runs down the track used almost $300.00 in fuel.

I raised the rear back up and softened the suspension as soft as it will go for drag racing. I still am having traction issues and thought about putting some extra weight in the trunk. With close to 1k rwhp I am in need of extra weight over the wheels.

SEMA is coming up soon... is everyone that's going booked?

The fest is too far for me to drive. 2860 miles one way.:(
That's more miles than what I have on the car right now.

If I have the weekend open, I may fly out to the Fest though.
I'm sure I can ride in someone's LPE car for the cruise...
Too early for viewing next year's racing schedule.
April is still pretty early here.. we still have the chance for snow at that time.

I constantly tell people we are not in the suspension business. We are in the SEG business. As long as our cutomers leave with a after they have paid the bill we will be a very successful business. Then there are cutomers that give me a GIANT SEG.

I think you have 1 less competitor now too....Looks like Orange Chevy II can't make it. Like my car, its tough to dial these cars in when its either done at the last moment (or in my case...not done).

Looks like you have the LPE car and Brooks to worry about!

All 3 black cars.

I think Fastlane isn't going either.
