Ted, Good to hear about the TVS 2.3. I know forum member Canadian ZL1 really like this blower also on his 427 stroked LSA. It appears this blower really shines on larger than factory bottoms. Not many have moved over to this blower on factory displaced bottoms with the ported 1.9.

I'll keep this blower in mind though. Thank you.

New fuel pumps

I have a dumb question:
After having quite a few issues with how my car was originally built, and buying it in non running condition, i finally was able to enjoy it until a few weeks ago when my fuel pumps quit. After pulling my pump assembly, whats there is dual TI auto 400lph pumps. After talking with Fore im replacing with TI 450lph pumps for more fuel volume and e85 compatibility. Do i need to have a retune before driving it? I know its probably a silly question, but i cant find something definitive.

That really depends if the fuel pressure changes or not, and what fuel pressure was tuned with vs what it is now.

Ted.

Ted. What are your blower grind specs for LS3? I see you have rough idle and smooth, or do you grind them differently depending on application? Also what cam cores do you use?

Texas speed grind our cams on premium cores, each cam comes with a card when you purchase it.

Each cam is specific to the build please call for a consultation 203-753-7223

Hi Ted.

I have a custom built twin rear mount setup on an l99 completely stock internal camaro. Zl1 fuel pump with fscm turned to the zl1 settings through hp tuners.
Hp unknown, iats at 10 above ambient (florida) and gain 20 degrees f over an entire pull at 7psi.(120f final temp)
1000cc injectors with max 45% dc or less at last check. 93 pump gas only.

Any higher than 7psi and I can see fuel pressure start to drop.

I'm wanting to run 10lb wastegate springs. Will a meth kit easily bridge the 3psi fuel requirement gap or will I need a supplimentary fuel pump?

NEVER use a meth system to supplement weaknesses in your fuel system.

I would suggest a JMS fuel pump voltage booster which will support 700 RWHP and I know your L99 is not going there at 10 psi.

Ted.

I have a 2010 SS M6 with a maggie ARH some meth and your tensioner with the original fuel pump, the last dyno was 575hp. Lately, when I get on it revs up to like 5k then bucks like it is out of fuel what is the best fix for this? ZL1 pump? please advise Thanks Thomas

Hey Ted. What do you think about a Kong 2650 on a forged 376 build?

What are your power goals, auto or manual.

My car is a manual. My stock supercharger is ported and I’m running a 2.45 9.17 combo. So its spinning. I think setting up the 2650 with a small ratio should result in slightly higher boost if not the same and hopefully less heat. I also think the longevity of the supercharger will be the biggest concern. I know I have to stay on top of my current setup. My concern with the 2650 is head lift as I don’t have 6 bolt heads. I do have arp head studs and my rings were gapped for high boost. There are also claims that the TVs 2650 create less parasitic loss. But I have yet to see actual number when comparing them.

OK I need more info to better answer your questions.

What is your complete car info and current mod list.

Ted.
