Well, for those of you in the northeast, it will not snow at all this winter.

I will take full credit for this.

The reason?

Because I got a set of Blizzaks on Elbrus I08 Anthracite rims from Rudy and Tire Rack, So I am all ready for snow in September.

Thanks again for all your help answering my questions Rudy!

If I turn out to be wrong with my weather prediction, and I DO get to use the winter wheels in some snow, I'll post back here about the experience. Really can't give an opinion while they're hanging in their Tire Totes on the garage wall.

Cool! I appreciate your business. I have the feeling we will get some snow. Also keep in mind winter tires offer more grip versus summer tires in freezing temps even in the dry.

I've had my 2012 SS/RS for about a month and where I'm at currently I'll probably need some winter tires. How much are the Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow tires? I'm guessing that these tires are pretty good for the whole winter since my car is my DD.

They run $286 each for the front and $274 each for the rear. Please give me a call and I will set it up. You will LOVE these tires!

Hi, I have a 2013 2SS and was going to be getting snow tires soon. I had a question about the tire size. I know 245 was suggested, however, wouldn't a skinner tire do better in the snow than the 245? Although, I don't know how skinnier I could go with the wheels I have. I will be putting the snow tires on the original wheels and then buy some separate wheels in spring for the summertime.

Thank you.

You can only go so narrower on a certain width wheel and tire. You also need to keep the diameter correct and the width is involved with this. Are you staying with the stock 20 inch wheels?

Hi, didn't read through the whole thread but I'd like to throw this question out there...

I have a early 2010 2SS without the front caliper rollerskates (but has the stick on weights that stick out about 1/2") ... Tirerack recommended winter wheel combo is the 235's with the 18" wheels ... I'm guessing this would clear with no issues?

Hi Rudy,

After so many hours exploring the camaro5 thread, I've decided to place an order of 4 for the Bridgestone Blizzak LM-60 245/45R20 for my 2011 chev.camaro 2SS. I plan to install them all around on the stock rims. Next summer I want to upgrade to 21's and maintain the blizzaks set for the winters (I hope they will last plenty of seasons) . I feel confident with this choice because of all your input on the thread, and also this choice falls within my budget ! However I have a question; when I placed the order, in the checkout section said the tires where on stock, and when I came back to review the order after paying for it, in the description zone says the model of the tires and right under it "no longer available" . Should I be concerned about this ?

Where Are They? Whenever I Look, I Only See Three Tires available, But Not the discounted Blizzaks?

He was talking about 19 inch sizing. They are also discontinued in 20 inch but to run the Blizzaks in winter you need to do 245/45R20 front and rear. Feel free to call me.
