Nothing wrong with people voicing their disappointment. The option is not a big deal to many but I don't mind reading why people have a problem with it. I always thought it was gimicky anyways.

The Initial Ordering Workbook had a picture in it showing the ABL and the Chevrolet website showed a computer generated video showing how ABL worked so yes, it was marketed and the information is not based on rumor or speculation.

I for one am glad that it isn't on the dash. Ambient lighting is distracting as hell during night driving so I turn any lighting off if possible if I'm driving a car that has it.

Actually, I felt the same way. Like a guy at a car show would put in his Nissan or something. But I don't think it's anything to argue about. That's not what I like to do. But I do like to talk about it. I posted in the other thread a simple statement and got jumped on. I have thick skin but I do want to participate in the discusion. Which is why I was staying away from it. Just a bunch of arguing but this 'breaking 'news was interesting and new so here I am. But, dude if I'm bothering you I'll just bounce. No problem. I've enjoyed killing the last 4 hrs. By the way I don't even know what a post count is for. But I'll be here til the Mods boot me.
