We still have problem though and that's that pesky noise :( Same cams fitted (professionally) on a LY7 almost quite as a mouse on the LLT it's noisy causing false knock down low. Going be the power results though, definitely not giving up LOL

told you guys close to 100hp might of been possible with full porting of the cylinder head with angle job and cams VE theory always work. with my ported IM and the insulator we was seeing 34ft lb of tq and 28hp which then the cylinder head became the bottle neck. We opened up the inlet of the head with porting and gasket matching and that definitely made my "butt feel" even more noticeable. N/A guys can hit 400+ too I bet especially if you decide to throw e85 in the mix.

steve, now just gotta get that darn tune worked out

Don't take this as bashing, Just honestly interested.
Not at all. Once we sort out the false knock below 2k will provide detailed final data for people to review

God know what these babies would push out with a set of nicely ported heads I may have to "twist" Mick's arm to try some

These would work quite well with the 3.9's you have in your car Jay if you're still game for some testing before you finally sell up

After seeing the logs, I'm a believe that it's not the tune, it's a mechanical fault. I'm tipping a lazy chain tensioner, who knows though. May have been installed incorrectly. No idea at the moment but will find out soon enough

You're not the only one. I think I've finally decided on the engine I'm going to stick with when it comes to for that special build

great news! now i run into the problem of saving enough money for these. i guess i'll have to wait until somebody with the DT-S exhaust installs these and see how it sounds. i'm planning on getting the 25mm spacer eventually as well. just got so much going on this summer. two road trips, camping trip, etc. all being accomplished in the camaro! lol

I got nothing but time!

What else should we replace, with the cams, to get the best output? I'm already all over the CAI and ported throttle body. I have an automatic.

guys...you are really killing me LOL. 3.91 with these mid high power monster would make some hell of a 1/4 mile. slicks and things get even more exciting. I will have to really think about this.
