He did not show you the wires that go to the onstar or the USB wires needed, hold on and you will see soon.

Aftermarket has the option of the backup camera. Some even have more than one, if you want one in the front too.

Will the HUD be linked to the MyLink/NAV unit? For example, displaying the current song, next turn on NAV, etc

Can we start ordering? Lol just cause you posted your stock levels a few replies back.

I don't have the PDIM so therefore no USB/Bluetooth , no steering wheel controls either, and no Bluetooth onstar. All of these I'd like to add but unsure if I should do it pre-mylink.

$1000 tops is what I would pay, I know that may be far fetched but thats just my opinion. But I guess its worth is weighed by the person buying it.

Yes it is. I would pay more than that but 1800+ is too much. Sweet spot is somewhere in between, especially with NAV.

If the install didn't involve taking apart the entire dash (which it looks as if it doesn't), I would be able to retrofit the back up camera to both the mirror and the screen, navigation, and I would be able to retain all OEM bluetooth features and hands free calling, I'd be willing to pay $1800. When it comes to touch screen head units, aftermarket brands are lacking in more areas than one. It looks as if this will be by far the best option

Really? Explain. I've tried a few any they work just as well as mylink. All have many features. Which have you compared to find the aftermarket lacking?

$1000 labor? The Camaro everything snaps or pops off, Older cars seem more complex. All this is well within do it yourself if all the harnesses and such are made to fit.

Just wanted to post in here as its been a while. I just put my wife in a 2013 equinox 1LT with my link. It's a really nice setup. I'm now envious of her and the mylink. If only there was a way to rip it out of the equinox and shove it into my 45th......hmmmmm

How hard is it to do a 2012 2SS ? There should be less modifcations to do. Cost for materials needed. Thanks
