Thanks for the feedback on the mats. Lloyd's must be the "only show in town" as far as mats are concerned. Sounds like that's where everyone has been ordering them. I'll have to check it out!

P.S. My dog does the same thing when my husband kisses me. Not sure if it's a jealousy thing, or a protective thing. For sure it must be a "small dog" thing!! They have no sense of their size whatsoever!!!

Jeff, I am definitely planning to be very careful! This particular brand seems to be very high quality & the instructions are pretty clear that you don't want to be in direct sun (which I won't be), only 'wash' small sections at a time to be sure it doesn't dry on the car before you wipe it off, etc. I tested a small section over the weekend and it really seemed to do an excellent job. I buffed it out to a terrific shine & no residue whatsoever. I mainly plan to use it when I can't do a full wash but need to get some of that winter grime off my car!

P.S. I have also seen posts from several members from this site who have used this product with rave reviews!

yes i know-ive used waterless waxes on my maxima and it is a great product, my only concern is you need to make sure the dust is off first other wise your spraying that stuff right on to the dust and then your wiping the dust and cleaning right into your paint causing damage thats all i know that could happen

Hey all, haven't posted on the thread before. I ordered my black ss in late Nov. It's gonna be built next week and be on its way. I was hoping they would take a bit more time so this snow could go away... Doesn't look like that's gonna happen.

Although I didn't read through all of these posts, I was wondering if anyone cares to list some reputable omaha-area body shops and good places for tuning/aftermarket parts. The SS itself has set me back enough that I don't want to take a risk spending extra at a sub-par place.

I have probably seen some of your Camaros around before all the snow. Hope I get to see them on the road again soon.

Sounds like a good idea. Have all of us get together one day when the weather is warmer and the snow is gone. Think it would be really nice to see all the camaros lined up together in the parking lot.

Are you just looking to show off the cars? If so, every Friday there is a show at Culver's/Sam's Club on N. 27th in Lincoln and I think Omaha has theirs on Wednesday, but I forget where it's at. We could pick a time for everyone to show

If you're considering racing, then we have KRP in Kearney or MAM in SW Iowa(just accross the border from Plattsmouth).

I'm hoping to go to the fest in GA in April, maybe the 2nd annual can be a little more centrally located, KC or Topeka?

I've been getting my parts from WS6store in Iowa and Streetside Auto in KCMO. The two most recognized dyno/tuner shops in the area are probably The Shop in Council Bluffs or Dynotech in Lincoln. But my tune is provided by Vector Motor Sports.
Body shops I can't help you with.

Ok I've been wanting to get everybody in Nebraska together for some time now. Lets set a date and see if this works. If someone in greater Nebraska wants to plan a meet we can do that also. But for now this is the plan, of course always with weather permitting.
Big Red Camaro5 Nation Fest is April 10th, 2010 at Fox Neighborhood Bar & Grill, 1245 Libra Drive, Lincoln, Nebraska at 11:00.
They have a place where we can park our cars for safety.
Hope all can attend!
