Good to meet the forum members today. Pretty cool how we rolled into the show together. And the pics with the Challenger was fun.And a 2nd place trophy !!

I probably won't be doing any more shows this weekend...wife, while being my DD, wrecked our 2011 Jeep Wrangler into our friend's car...nobody was hurt...only my wallet. Jeep needs a new quarter, rear bumper, license plate and taillight. The Tahoe she hit needs a new bumper, rear light, and quarter. Wish she would wait for the first oil change before wrecking the new cars.

Honestly...I expected her to wreck the Jeep...that is why she is in a Wrangler Sport...bumpers are cheap. Plastic fenders are giving...parts are dirt cheap designed for rock crawlers to rip up and throw away. Sadly, she hit the one spot that is NOT tossable on the car.

And I did laugh when you pointed out my Sig Tags...thanks guys. This is why I love the Camaro family. You guys cheered me up instantly.

Had a blast at SCCA Autocross at Hawkeye Downs ! Made 6 runs . Best time was my last run.....65.5. Not too bad but coulda been a little faster. Fun...fun...fun !!!!

What a nice weekend to be out and about, my wife and I are in the process of putting together our calendar for car shows and cruises going on this fall. These are the dates I have off and what we may have planned:
September 18: Norway, IA. Recreation League Car Show
September 22: Pleasant Hill, IA. 10am to 3pm Camaro Show
September 23: Marshalltown, IA. 5pm to 9pm Main Street
September 24: Maquoketa, IA. 6pm to 10pm Cruise
September 25: Burlington, IA. 12am to 4pm Car show at Catfish Bend Casino
October 1: Des Moines, IA. Road Rally Charities, Road Race event all day
October 9: Winterset, IA. 8am to 4pm 26th Annual Madison County Car Show
Keosauqua, IA. 10am to 3pm Fall Festival
October 15:
October 16:
October 30:
We are open to any suggestions; the only dates set in stone are September 18, 22 and October 1. Let me know what else is going on and what everyone else is doing. Do we have a calendar anywhere on the Iowa Members Forum that we can post events in advance?

rjbjfire you have the camaro show date wrong it is oct. 22 ! so i take it no one is doing the speedway car show in newton sat. ? im gonna go and get car out on track for photo-op be kool to run around track for a couple of laps !

I never really know my time off so I can't make alot of plans but that Newton show sounds neat. I got a flier on it at the Watkins show yesterday.

Sounds like fun. We have moto-x that day so wont be able to make that one
