I tell most folks i dropped a Dodge Hemi V10 in it. and watch them puzzle that out.

I got emblems of LS3 and 6.2L/LS3. They KNOW it's a V8 but doesn't matter which you have enjoy it and ignore those who may be negative or whatever. I had 2 girls in a challenger come on side and passenger is hanging out the window making a gesture as if stirring a pot. Don't know what that means. Didn't care. And yes they looked good bit some girls are stupid and I have no sympathy for stubbornness nor immaturity.

I guess Automatic guy can kinda relate. Same principle. You got a bad ass car and all of a sudden some know it all wannabe comes up and finds something to cut on. I have an out. I can just ask him if he wants to race. So I can see where it would get frustrating.

I like the ones who don't really know cars at all and ask.

They ask if it's a V8 and it clearly says SS. But they obviously don't know these cars much so I can tell them, YUP, V6, wanna race?

Like the mini-van, most of the idiots who make you feel that way are ......... well......... idiots.

Do this, becasue I did the same thing with the "Is it the stick?" guys. (BTW, it's NEVER a lady) Make a mental note of all the people who ask that. I GAURANTEE the class and quality of the persons asking in that certain manner will be of a .............. well............. uneducated?! ............. nature. Paycheck to paycheck but buying beer and smokes before groceries and driving an old beater or otherwise in that same class. Or young kids who are really proud of themselves for being able to drive at all. LMAO

does the SS require premium fuel, or is it recommended? I won't lie, I'd like an SS, but more money for the base price, more money for insurance, more money because of worse mpg, and then having to get more expensive gas on top of that, it all adds up to a lot more....doesn't it? Or am I just trying to convince myself I don't need an SS? :-/

It's def worth it, but yes can be a little more expensive. Although insurance for me is 170$ a month. I dont think that's too bad considering it's a high perf. car and I don't have the best driving record.

If you don't use premium in the SS you may as well get the V6 because that's the performance you'll get.
