Hooters is having their monthly Camaro Show-Off at their establishment in Las Cruces again. Bring your Camaro, the older the better, and let's fill this parking lot and our bellies at 630PM. No meeting before Hooters, just get there at 630.

Guys, this info may have been posted here about a million times, I don't know, but if anyone here is interested in corvettes, here's the corvette forum.

I may get a corvette in a couple of years. If so, I'll use the same strategy I used when I got my camaro. I'll get the cheapest one I can get. I'm looking at the C7 corvette coupe 2LT model. It will have Bose stereo, and Chevy Mylink. I'll get a black one, with red brake calipers. I'm guessing it will run about 55k. I'll probably keep it for 20 years, or until I die. I don't mean to sound morbid, but I am 59. The vette will probably outlive me.

On a side note, I am loving my camaro. It's the best car I've ever had, and it's the most fun car I've ever had. The 2LS is just the right model for me.

I don't think he was talking about a specific thread, just posting the Corvette forum he either just joined, or has been lurking on.


Had a good time last night, BTW. Now it's obvious to those who went....why I don't bring the family!!! I can't talk with you guys cuz the kids are crazy or the hubby feels left out. They are better off at home!!

I can't wait for the C7 Corvettes to come out because I've had my eyes on a C6 Z06 for a couple of years now, but the price just does not seem to come down even on the used ones. I am also interested in seeing what the 6th Gen Camaro has to offer, but I have a feeling it may be a dissapointment. I think it will be faster and more nimble, but at the sacrifice of much of the styling the 5th gen has.

Those corvettes hold there value, unless you find one with high miles on it. The camaros are holding there value pretty good to. Looking to get a 1le, the dealers here have been pretty fair as far as trade in values, got to see how fair they are on there 1le.

Hey everyone, so this Sunday there will be The Toys for Tots Cruise brought by The Marines Toys For Tots Foundation and the folks who put together the Pistons and Pinups show. Information on the event is provided below. I myself would like to have as many of us from Camaro5 to partake in this event, not to represent the group, but to help those kids out there that are less fortunate than us and to bring a smile to a wee lad's face this holiday season. This event is held on a Sunday so it shouldn't interfere in many people's schedule for the weekend.

INFO:
Annual Cruise and Show is set to begin at the Mesilla Valley Mall in Las Cruces, NM and end at the Field of Dreams. Show is open to all types of vehicles and everyone is encouraged to participate even if your car is "under construction".

Vehicles: Registration: $5 AND a new unwrapped toy.

Day of: Check-in and Registration beings at 9 AM at Mesilla Valley Mall, Parade leaves 12 noon sharp!

Right afterwards we''ll drive to Carinos, Buffalo Wild Wings, or any other establishment in the area for dinner. So, let's start the list!

POSTPONED TILL FURTHER NOTICE

Hey there everyone, I wanted to inform you folks that the Toys For Tots Cruise that was to take place this Sunday has been postponed until the beginning of December. I know that this is a bummer, but this will allow us to have more time and better preperation on getting together to get the toys the kiddos.
