Hey Guys?

My 2003 Impala apparently according to Can Tire needs a an ignition control module? 290$:(...part only
I was driving at 100k on 640 when she stalled. Motor turns over fine but won't catch.

Is it a fairly common occurence on Impalas or 3.8 L engines with 250 000KM
When it comes to electronics ...it could be a number of things?

Any ideas on other causes or where to get part....scrap yard ?

Electronic gremlins are hard to diagnose without proper tools/knowledge... In general, those parts are easy to change, but if the new part you buy doesn't do the trick, it's non returnable... Also, I really wouldn't get an electronic part from a scrap yard ( chances are the part is ready to go out soon too ). If you want, I can call Partex and ask how much they charge. Let me know.

Checkout this link on how to diagnose a ICM ...

Hi guys, this weekend was wonderful, but so cold (-20) we went for a ride (une randonnée) with the club of quads (saturday). We left at 8h30 we were the 2e group to leave from Maniwaki and went at the LA POINTE À DAVID Basquatown. 2h30 of ride (just to go there) on are Side by Side..... it was fun and you will see Denis on the pics with are camaro winther ride (polaris, Ranger 500) when to the souper just in time at 6h pm after the ride (so 5h of ride).
It was a great day but cold, we where 150 quads for this day.... a fiew light accident but for us it was only when the skidoo made is corner at the same time that us and bring us in the gotter (fosset) he never stop but Denis was great to get us out of there , great time
